"Let the Games Begin" - Out in January 2011
HELL IN THE CLUB is the name of the new rock'n'roll monster created by members of two of the most talented Italian heavy metal bands around: SECRET SPHERE and ELVENKING.
Active since the middle 90's these two bands have written the history of Italian and International heavy metal with the release of many successful albums and with their presence on some of the most important metal stages.
ANDY// Andrea Buratto, bass player of Secret Sphere had on his mind this rock'n'roll project for many years . With all the experience and confidence he gained through all the time with SS he was ready to launch his own ambitious band and finally, after writing a bunch of perfect kickass songs he recruited the rest of the gang.
PICCO// Andrea Piccardi was his first choice. He is one of the most talented rock session guitarist in the area and it was very clear that he could be the perfect guitar player for HELL IN THE CLUB, both for his skills and his great taste in composing and arranging music.
DAVE// Andy was aware that the job for the singer was a hard one to fill. In fact when the band started to work on the songs, didn't have a singer. But then it happened that Secret Sphere shared the same stage with Elvenking and the bass player realized that Damna could be the right choice! He eventually contacted him et voilà! HELL IN THE CLUB had the right rockin' voice!
FEDE// The band needed a devoted and skilled musician also on the drums and Secret Sphere's Federico Pennazzato was the man! Groove, power and a high musical taste ...this is Fede!
Summer 2009/2010... it was now time to record the very first songs! The band entered AUTHOMA STUDIOS in Alessandria and layed down 12 rockin' jewels: NATURAL BORN ROCKERS, ROCK DOWN THIS PLACE, ON THE ROAD, STAR, RAISE YOUR DRINKIN' GLASS are some of the titles.
HELL IN THE CLUB first full length album will be entitled "LET THE GAMES BEGIN" and will be released in Europe, Japan and USA through a collaboration of different labels RED PONY / GET ROCKED, AVENUE OF ALLIES and BAD REPUTATION in JANUARY 2011. The record companies are already setting a promotional and booking plan in order to support and promote the band all over the world while the band has shot the video of first single "ON THE ROAD" that will premiere YouTube and tv channels in winter 2010/2011..
So this is HELL IN THE CLUB! A big new rock'n'roll band that knocks down your soul and takes you right into a hellride of fun, power and emotions with a big dose of hard rock!
HELL IN THE CLUB will distress you, they'll make you dance, sing and bang your heads with their songs and their amazing live shows...rock'n'roll is the word!! Are you ready to raise some fuckin' hell???

HELL IN THE CLUB è il nome della nuova rock’n’roll band fondata da membri di due delle più importanti heavy metal band italiane in circolazione: SECRET SPHERE ed ELVENKING.
Attive dalla metà degli anni ‘90 queste due band hanno scritto la storia del metal italiano ed internazionale pubblicando diversi album di successo e calcando alcuni dei più importanti palchi europei e non.
ANDY// Andrea Buratto, bassista dei Secret Sphere aveva in cantiere da molto tempo questo progetto rock’n’noll. Con tutta l’esperienza e la sicurezza acquisite nel corso degli anni con i SS, ha finalmente trovato il momento giusto per dedicarsi ad una nuova band professionale e dopo aver scritto del materiale perfetto per l’occasione, si è messo alla ricerca della lineup ideale.
PICCO// Andrea Piccardi è stata la sua prima scelta. E’ uno dei più validi rock session guitarists della zona ed è stato chiaro sin da subito che potesse essere il chitarrista perfetto per gli HELL IN THE CLUB, per la sua abilità con la chitarra e per il suo innegabile gusto nel comporre ad arrangiare musica.
DAVE// Andy sapeva che sarebbe stato difficile trovare il cantante ideale, infatti la band ha iniziato a lavorare sui pezzi senza la voce. Fortunatamente i Secret Sphere e gli Elvenking hanno avuto l’occasione di dividere lo stesso palco e per il bassista non c’erano dubbi che Damna potesse essere la persona giusta. Dopo averlo contattato è passato pochissimo tempo prima che gli HELL IN THE CLUB avessero un singer! FEDE// La band aveva bisogno di un abile musicista anche alla batteria e Federico Pennazzato dei Secret Sphere era l’uomo giusto! Groove, potenza e un ottimo gusto musicale (è anche produttore e proprietario degli Authoma Studios)...questo è Fede!
Estate 2009/2010... Era ora tempo di registrare le prime canzoni! La band è entrata agli AUTHOMA STUDIOS in Alessandria e ha steso 12 gioelli rock: NATURAL BORN ROCKERS, ROCK DOWN THIS PLACE, ON THE ROAD, STAR, RAISE YOUR DRINKIN’ GLASS sono alcuni dei titoli.
Il primo disco si intitolerà “LET THE GAMES BEGIN” e verrà pubblicato in Europa, Giappone e USA attraverso la collaborazione di diverse etichette RED PONY / GET ROCKED, AVENUE OF ALLIES e BAD REPUTATION il 10 GENNAIO 2011. Le casae discografiche stanno già organizzando un piano promozionale e di booking per supportare e promuovere la band in tutta Europa. Gli HITC nel frattempo hanno terminato le riprese del video del primo singolo “ON THE ROAD” che esordirà sul canale YouTube e tv channels nell’inverno 2010/2011.

NEVER TURN MY BACK
This is the song that most reminds our classic hard rock roots..the music we've been growing with and the style of melodies we love since we are kids. The lyrics are about the will to go on and to not look at your back, proud of what you built after a long tunnel made of errors and failures.
ROCK DOWN THIS PLACE
A song that came so naturally. It can remind the modern American rock sound of bands like Papa Roach, Hinder, etc. and it was born from the will to write a song full of positive energy. Everyhting started from the chorus and the rest built itself very quickly. The lyrics are about a night made of fun and passion. It's gonna be a strong point at our gigs, so be ready to sing and dance!
ON THE ROAD
A very melodic straight to the pont mid tempo.. Influenced by the atmospheres of the best 80's hits, the chorus gets straight in the head thanks also to the beautiful arrangements. The lyrics are about the fascination and the sense of freedom of travelling and about all the surprises you can get, the people you can meet and the things you can see while on the road. Seen from the eyes of a musician but dedicated to all the travellers! First videoclip!
NATURAL BORN ROCKERS
Dedicated to all the rockers!! Pure heavy rock'n'roll with great choirs .. perfect for the live shows! A perfect tune for having a good time and get wild!
SINCE YOU'RE NOT THERE
Melodic and emotional...the mood and the melodies follow the lyrics which talk about the hypothetical loss of the one we love. It's still pretty energetic and not the classic ballad. The arrangements help the chorus to be as intense and emotional as possible.
ANOTHER SATURDAY NIGHT
Rock'n'roll remake of the classic written in the 60's by Sam Cooke and already covered by Cat Stevens in the 70's. The arrangement by Picco give the song a very party like mood.
RAISE YOUR DRINKIN' GLASS
Another party song made to sing and dance! A rock'n'roll guitar riff and a chorus that go straight to your brain. Light rock wit no frills... very difficult to not shake your ass while listening! the keyword is FUN!
NO APPRECIATION
This is the heavier and most energetic song of the lot. We can deny it, be indifferent, but everyone of us has a little evil voice inside that more than once would make us explode in front of hypocrisy, false attitude, gelosy of the people that surround us. "No appreciation" gives voice to this little devil and spits out with no filters what we'd like to do to the ones who try to fuck with our will and our dreams.
FORBIDDEN FRUIT
Song dedicated to the lure of what's tempting and forbidden... to desire.. to sin.. Musically near to the groovy hard rock songs with the final explosion into a melodic and catchy chorus that you'll start singng straight after the first listen.
STAR
The ballad. Very romantic and touching. With very emotional vocal melodies and guitar solos. Dedicated to all the ones who unfortunately are not here anymore and watch over us from above.
DAYDREAM BOULEVARD
It has a great seventies feeling and an incredible groove. The lyrics describe a place made of rock'n'roll, fun and peace, a Daydream Boulevard...a daydream come true where we can let all our wildest emotions free!
DON'T THROW IN THE TOWEL
Another great live song.. powerful and catchy riffs, lots of rock'n'roll and a big chorus to sing! It's an invitation of believing in yourself and in what you do, fighting for what you love or simply letting yourself go when doing what you do best.

Musicalmente questo pezzo è il più vicino all’hard rock classico che abbiamo sempre amato sin da quando eravamo bambini. E' un invito a non guardarsi mai indietro ma di andare avanti, fieri di quello che si sta costruendo una volta usciti da un tunnel fatto di errori e fallimenti.
ROCK DOWN THIS PLACE
Una song venuta giù di getto. Può ricordare il sound americano del rock moderno e di band come Papa Roach, Hinder o simili nata dal bisogno di scrivere una canzone liberatoria e piena di energia positiva. Tutto è partito dalla melodia del ritornello, attorno alla quale è stato poi costruito il resto. Il testo parla di una notte fatta di passione e divertimento. Sarà sicuramente un punto forte dei nostri show, quindi preparatevi a ballare e a cantare!
ON THE ROAD
Mid tempo molto orecchiabile e di impatto...riporta atmosfere delle migliori canzoni hard rock anni ottanta sfociando in un ritornello che si stampa in testa al primo ascolto...bellissimi gli arrangiamenti... Il testo è un omaggio alla vita sulla strada, al fascino del viaggio e a tutte le persone,le sorprese e le emozioni che si incontrano durante il cammino ..un inno al senso di libertà che si respira on the road. Vista dagli occhi di un musicista ma dedicata a tutti i viaggiatori di ogni tipo. Primo video del disco.
NATURAL BORN ROCKERS
Canzone dedicata a tutti i rockers!! Puro rock n roll tirato e aggressivo con cori fatti apposta da cantare tutti insieme nei live! Canzone per sfogarsi, cantare e divertirsi!
SINCE YOU'RE NOT THERE
Una canzone melodica e struggente. Il mood e le le melodie seguono un testo dove si immagina di perdere definitivamente la persona che si ama. E' una canzone molto emozionante, melodica ma allo stesso tempo non lenta e dolce. Molto belli gli arrangiamenti che rendono la melodia vocale ancora più vincente!
ANOTHER SATURDAY NIGHT
Rifacimento in chiave rock n roll di un brano degli anni 50 scritto da Sam Cooke e già ripreso negli anni settanta da Cat Stevens. L'arrangiamento curato da Picco ha dato una veste molto festaiola e divertente al brano.
RAISE YOUR DRINKIN' GLASS
Altra party song da ballare e cantare! Riff di chitarra molto rock n roll e linea vocale che arriva dritta nel cervello...rock divertente e spensierato senza tanti fronzoli a cui è difficile resistere senza muoversi...la parola d'ordine è divertimento!
NO APPRECIATION
Questa è la canzone più heavy ed energetica del disco. Possiamo negarlo, fare finta di niente, ma dentro tutti noi c’è una piccola voce “malvagia” che più di qualche volta ci farebbe esplodere di fronte alla falsità, l’ipocrisia, la gelosia, alla meschinità di chi ci sta attorno. “No Appreciation” dà voce a questo piccolo diavolo e sputa senza riguardo ciò che ogni tanto ci verrebbe voglia di fare a tutti quelli che cercano di ostacolare la nostra volontà e i nostri sogni.
FORBIDDEN FRUIT
Canzone dedicata al fascino del proibito...al desiderio...all'abbandono nel peccato... musicalmente vicina a quelle canzoni hard rock con molto groove ma che sfocia in un ritornello melodico e accattivante con una melodia che inizierete a fischiettare dopo un solo ascolto.
STAR
Ballad del disco...molto romantica e sognate..con una prova vocale toccante e assoli di chitarra emozionanti. Dedicata a tutti coloro che non ci sono più e che da lassù ci guardano e ci accompagnano nel nostro cammino.
DAYDREAM BOULEVARD
E’ forse la canzone con il feeling più settantiano dell’album e ha un groove pazzesco! Descrive un luogo ipotetico fatto di rock’n’roll, divertimento e pace…una Daydream Boulevard…un sogno ad occhi aperti dove possiamo dare libero sfogo alle nostre emozioni!
DON'T THROW IN THE TOWEL
Altra canzone fatta apposta per i live...riff potenti ed accattivanti, tanto rock'n'roll e un ritornello da cantare! E' un invito a credere in se stessi e in ciò che si fa...a vivere la vita senza paure o limiti inutili e intensamente, lottando per ciò che si ama o semplicemente lasciandosi andare in ciò che ci piace!
